In this day and age, you can’t do without an extra income stream.
Overnight you can lose your job and find yourself broke.
On the other hand, even if you have a job, wages are usually low, the cost of living is constantly rising and you are trying to make do with what you have left over.
An extra income of 100 to 200 euros or more per month will surely do you good, for your lifestyle and your psychology.
But, what are the best ways to earn extra income?
There are thousands of ideas to make extra income every month both online and offline. You choose the ones you think are best for you.
Keep in mind that in this article, however, I will only focus on ideas for extra income from the internet – from the comfort of your home. That means you won’t see anything about baby sitting, insurance, real estate or private lessons or brochure distribution.
With the following methods, you can earn an extra 100 to 200 euros or more per month with 1 – 3 hours per day (7 – 20 hours per week).

1. Sold photos and stock videos
A relatively easy method that can generate passive income over time is selling photos and videos on stock video platforms and photo banks.
If you have a professional camera or just a phone with a good camera, all you have to do is take pictures or videos of your everyday life.
Buildings, subways, trains, people walking, dogs and anything else you find interesting.
You will then subscribe to websites that let you sell your creations and get a share of every sale.
In essence, these websites are intermediaries between you (the creator) and the buyer (big news websites, magazines, marketing agencies, designers, etc.).

2. Keep the computer running all the time
What kind of an idea is this, you’re gonna tell me now? It doesn’t pay much, but you don’t have to do anything.
So, what you give, you get.
There are several companies that pay you just to have their program running on your calculator. Don’t worry, these companies don’t collect your bank accounts, nor do they want to hack you.
The way they work – most companies – is that you share your unused internet bandwidth with them – and they resell it to their customers (something like that anyway).
Here’s how it works:
- You simply install their program on your computer.
- You leave the computer on.
- The program runs in the background
- And you get paid.
The money you will earn from these applications is not much. You may in total earn 100 – 200 euros per year. But again, you do absolutely NOTHING. You just have the computer on.

3. Become a Virtual Assistant
Virtual assistants are essentially assistants to various people.
For example, a blogger, a marketer or a business owner, you may have to do some tasks that he prefers to outsource rather than do them himself so that he can deal with other things related to his work.
For example, he may want to:
- Someone to post a code to 30 Facebook groups and subreddits.
- Someone to find the emails of 500 C-lever executives from Linkedin from a specific sector and put them all in an excel.
- Someone to make him and post 5 videos a week.
- Someone to research his competitors and write him a report.
You know what I mean.
The only thing you need is a general knowledge of the internet and technology and to be able to find solutions and accomplish various tasks that are assigned to you.
To get started, just create a Fiverr account, and see what others are offering.
With an extra 1 hour a day and an average rate of 7 euros per hour you can earn up to 200 euros extra income per month. With more hours – more extra money.

You can also go on Facebook and search for “job boards” and introduce yourself there. Tell them your name, where you’re from, your skills and that you’re available.
Also, in many Facebook groups that deal with SEO (which I am enrolled in), I often see posts looking for helpers for specific topics. So, keep that in mind as well.
4. Freelancer
This idea of extra income is almost the same as the previous one.
The reason why I have it as a separate idea for extra income from the internet, is because you will not be positioned as a virtual assistant, but rather you will offer specific services.
For example:
- If you are good at video production then you offer video production services/
- If you’re a gamer with a point of view, you can offer copywriting services.
- If you are a good link builder for SEO, then you can offer link building services
- If you are good at painting, then you can offer the appropriate service.
And the list can be endless so I’ll stop here.. 🙂
To get inspired by what kind of services you can offer, do the following:
- Go to Fiverr and see all the categories of services that are available.
- Visit the categories one by one and see what services you could offer.
- Find the most popular ones and copy (NOT copy-paste) their style (thumbnails, gig description, etc.).
- Set your price very low to start with to attract customers. Once, you do 10 – 15 jobs and get good reviews, up it.
- Try to promote your services in forums, LinkedIn and Facebook groups.
Note that this method can turn from extra income to main income if you work it right.
5. Consulting / Special Courses
An equally good idea for extra income from the internet is to offer consulting services or special courses.
So if you are a musician, you are an expert in anything, you are a teacher or you have studied anything that can be taught, you can ALWAYS sell your knowledge through the internet.
How can you sell them? See below:
- Create similar services on Fiverr.
- Put that you offer consulting services / special courses on the profile of all your social networks.
- Find groups about your field on Facebook, LinkedIn or general discussions in forums and answer questions that people have. You’ll position yourself as knowledgeable about the subject. In the middle, mention that you also offer consulting services.
- Register on the following websites (these are Greek websites btw. Feel free to register to English or websites on your native language):

- Create a profile on about.me or a personal website.
How you deliver the course, I leave that up to you. There’s Skype, Zoom – even Viber.
6. Affiliate Marketing via Reddit
I’ve talked about affiliate marketing and how it works a lot of times.
In short, you promote other companies’ products or services and for every sale you make, you get a commission.
But why affiliate marketing through Reddit?
- Because you don’t need your own website.
- Because, Reddit is “loved” by Google – especially after the latest update of its algorithm (Helpful Content Update) that has surpassed Reddit’s traffic in the highs.
- There are thousands of communities and millions of discussions on any topic you can imagine.
The strategy you will follow is the following:
- You will select a product category. E.g. power tools (pruning tools, screwdrivers, pullers, etc.).
- You will create a subreddit. E.g. Power Tools Masters
- You will find affiliate programs that offer power tools (e.g. Amazon, AliExpress, Clickbank and ShareASale)
- You will find questions related to the products you will promote through Google. If you type “power tools” into Google, “chainsaw” will bring up questions that people ask.
- You will answer the questions using ChatGPT or any other AI Writing Assistant and post them to your subreddit. At the same time you will put your affiliate links where appropriate.
- Most of the affiliate programs you sign up for also offer discount codes. Find relevant subreddits and post them there.
If you do this daily, 1-2 hours a day, you will see that slowly your subreddit will start getting traffic, and that you will slowly start earning commissions.
Aim for 100 euros a month initially. When you make your first 100 euros you will be “sweetened”… Then, raise your target to 200 euros per month and so on.
7. Affiliate Marketing via Pinterest
An equally good idea for extra income every month with a few hours a day is affiliate marketing via Pinterest.
Pinterest is another social network that receives billions of visitors every month.
Pinterest’s algorithm has the ability to “push” Pins from accounts that post a lot of Pins every day.
So imagine posting 20 Pins a day – i.e. 600 per month – which pins are linked to your affiliate offer.
Some of these pins will go viral and you will start getting clicks on the affiliate products you promote. Some of the clicks will turn into customers and you will get your commissions.
Here’s how to get started.
- Go to Clickbank and find products related to women (because Pinterest has 80% of its traffic from women). Products like weight loss supplements, recipe books, diet courses, fitness courses, manifestation, etc.
- Go to Pinterest and create a professional account, put your profile picture, description etc.
- Then you will need a landing page. You will need the landing page to NOT put the affiliate link directly on Pinterest. You will send visitors FIRST to your landing page link, “pre-pin” it and then they will go to the product page. Click here for the best landing page builders. - So, once you find the product you will promote and build the landing page, you will start creating the Pin.
- Go to Canva – which is free and has thousands of templates for Pinterest – and start creating and posting PINs. On each PIN it puts the link to your landing page.
8. Resale of services
This method is very simple and does not require you to have any knowledge. You can build a very nice and simple extra income with a little work every month.
Remember earlier when I explained to you about freelancing?
Imagine now, instead of you providing the services, you just resell them. That’s called drop-servicing in English.
How does it work? Here’s a brief example:
Go to SEO Clerks and find a service that has good reviews and an active seller. E.g. this one:
As you can see this is an SEO service that offers 200 blog comments for only $5. It also has 21 thousand orders and an overall score of 99%.
She looks good.
You copy the description and tell ChatGPT to rewrite it. You also create in Canva about the same thumbnail (image).
Then you go to Fiverr and create a similar service that you sell for $15.
Whenever someone places an order on Fiverr, you buy it from SEO Clerks. You pay $5 and when you deliver it you get paid $15.
So $10 profit.
Now this is an example. If you don’t do SEO, there are many other services you can do “drop servicing” – depending on your field.
Also, you can do this with any freelance platform. That is, you can resell a service from Fiverr to people per hour.
Imagine having 10 such services and services that can leave a bigger profit. Also imagine reselling the service on 5 different freelancing platforms.
Imagine reselling 10 such services on 5 different freelancing platforms and promoting them with other methods – like the ones I mentioned in point 6.
9. Resale of products (drop-shipping)
I’m sure you’ve heard the term dropshipping before and you pretty much know how it works.
You go to AliExpress (or any other platform you can find drop shippers), find a good product, copy all its details and resell it through your own website.
You give the customer’s details to the “seller” in AliExpress and he sends it directly to your customer.
But drop shipping requires you to build an eshop – usually with WooCommerce or Shopify.
If you don’t want to deal with the process of building an eshop, you can do drop shipping through other platforms such as:

Don’t think it will be easy at first.
However, if you have perseverance and dedicate 1 – 2 hours a day to upload 5 products, at the end of the month you will have 150 products uploaded.
In 3 months you’ll have 450. That’s when you know you’re going to start getting sales. 100-200 euros a month is not far.
10. Resale of products (without drop shipping)
This is a similar method to dropshipping.
That is, you buy the products yourself from a store cheaply and resell them online at a higher price. When the order is placed, YOU ship the product to the customer, not the store.
A hypothetical scenario.
You buy from Jumbo 30 pieces of this product.
You go to eBay, and all the platforms I mentioned above – or even Facebook Marketplace – and sell it for 3 euros + shipping.
Another example..
Download the TEMU app (with this link you will get 100 euros in coupons) and buy 30 pieces of this magnetic car holder for €1.79 each.
Go to eBay and sell it for €7 + shipping – and you’ll be cheaper.
As you can see, there are many opportunities for reselling products. As long as you have the patience to do a little research.
11. Faceless YouTube Chanel
A “faceless” YouTube channel is still a great idea for extra income, which can develop into more than just “extra” money.
The goal, of course, is the income from YouTube ads. But why a faceless channel and not a face-to-face one?
Look, if you think you have it in front of the lens, then do it.
Just because there are a lot of ideas for YouTube channels that you might not want to put your face with – then you make it impersonal.
You may also be introverted and not want to show your face or have your voice heard.
Whatever the reason anyway, you can start a faceless YouTube channel that earns you extra income.
The goal is to upload 1 – 2 videos a day. This will take you about 1 – 2 hours a day.
In order to take 1 – 2 hours a day (instead of 3 – 5 hours a day), you will need a specific schedule. Pictory. I’ll explain why in a moment.
Here’s how to work this method:
- First you need to think about your niche and target group. For example, let’s say you chose the anti-aging/longevity niche.
- You go to Answer Socrates (free) and search for the seed keyword you are interested in. Eg: “longevity”. This site will show you thousands of questions searched in the search engines. around this topic.
- Then you take each question and Google it. For example: “What are Longevity Genes?”
- You will find a relevant result from a trustworthy website that covers the issue in detail.
- This is where Pictory comes in. Pictory allows you to turn any article into a video.
- By dragging the link into the field, and clicking “Proceed”, it will scrape the web page and display its content in its “editor”. You then select which parts of the article you want to use and press proceed.
- This is where the magic comes in. Pictory will automatically create the video scenes, add stock footage to each scene, create subtitles and add a voiceover that sounds like a real person.
- Then you export, upload to YouTube and you’re done.
Of course, sometimes the program’s artificial intelligence doesn’t do everything perfectly – in terms of video selection – and you’ll have to give it a try. The important thing is that out of the 3 hours it will take for each video, with Pictory you will need 30 minutes to 1 hour.

12. Crypto Trading
I adding crypto trading in this list because it is indeed a very good idea for extra income.
You can start with a capital of only 100 euros and aim for 1-2% return per day ONLY. That is, you day trade until you earn 1-2% every day. Then you stop.
If we say you earn 1.5% per day (average) = 45% per month.
So your 100 will become 145. That means you’ll make 45 euros profit.
Easy on the money – you will tell me now.
After your bankroll grows, you can bet more and as it grows you can bet more and find yourself making 200-300 euros a month.
Some “shills” on Quora replied that if you earn 1% a day on 100 euros at the end of the year you will have earned 3,378 euros.
That is 281.50 euros per month.
Also, the first 2-3 months will be the learning period where you “build” experience.
Why doesn’t everyone do it?
Because not everyone can be restrained and follow a system.
- Most people are seduced by quick profits.
- Most people are seduced by the gurus of Twitter.
- Most people want to make 100X their money in a month.
- Most of them are not formal.
- Most people have no patience and trust in their system.
etc., etc.
You have to stick to your system and your goal of 1-2% a day. If you can’t do it, don’t use this method to make extra money from the internet.
13. Online Surveys
There are various platforms that let you take part in surveys for a few euros per survey.
Abroad it is a very common method to earn an extra 50-150 euros per month.
In Greece and Cyprus, from what I noticed, they have recently started to “rise” or this particular method.
Anyway, the way you make money is this:
- You create your profile in research companies.
- Occasionally you receive notifications of new surveys for which you are considered an ideal washing sample.
- You are completing the survey.
- You get paid.

This is a method that allows you to do some tasks online in exchange for anything from a few cents to a few dollars.
What kind of task?
- Download a game on your mobile and reach level 30 or play for 1 hour.
- Create an account on a website.
- Categorize photos.
- Find the details of different websites

This method will earn you some extra money per month from the internet. Instead of “killing” your time playing games and watching TV, do these tasks and get a few extra euros a month.
15. Blogging
And finally, blogging.
What – for me – started as something for extra income and now has become my full-time income.
Although blogging is the most difficult of all the extra income ideas I mentioned, there are many reasons why someone should start a blog. The first and foremost is that it can grow into a full-time income.
Also, now with the “descent” of artificial intelligence programs, with which you can produce content 3 times faster than on your own, this method has become easier.
Someone’s biggest problem in terms of blogging was producing content. That is, to write a serious article would take you at least 2-4 hours.
Now, with artificial intelligence programs, this process takes you 30 minutes to 2 hours at most.
So, by spending 1 – 3 hours every day to publish an article, you can slowly build your traffic and start to see 100 – 300 euros per month (and up to 1000 and 2000 euros per month).
The procedure (in short) is simple:
- Choose the topic you will write about.
- Buy a domain (website address). E.g. from Namecheap.
- Buy hosting (the server where your website will be located.
- Install WordPress ( EasyWp and Hostinger do it automatically)
- Install a free theme (I recommend Kadence)
- Find keywords around your topic to write content using this method or tools like Answer Socrates.
- Start a subscription to, Writesonic, Anyword or Jasper (the best Ai programs for content production)
- Write an article a day.
If you are consistent and write one article a day, in the long run you will start to earn not only an extra income, but income for the whole year in one month (no, it’s not too much).

As I said at the beginning of this article, there are hundreds of ways to make extra income.
What you must remember is that WHATEVER you choose to do, you must have HONESTY and HOPE.
If you give up, you lose.
If you don’t give up yet, you’ll lose. As long as you don’t give up, you haven’t failed yet.
Also very important, is to choose ONE idea for extra income and to WORK on it. Don’t try 5 ideas at the same time.
You’re almost certain to fail.
Study all the methods I suggest, try to understand what kind of effort is needed for each one, look at your knowledge and then decide which one you will choose and DO IT.
